“Physical Fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body. It is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity.” – John F Kennedy. At TJC, we believe that every child can be physically and mentally fit. We place emphasis not just on psychomotor development but on affective and cognitive development as well so that our students are able to increase their level of competency, success and enjoyment in any sport they choose to take up.
Our programme provides a holistic education for students through various Sports & Games, Fitness & Conditioning, Outdoor Education, and Physical Health and Fitness (PHF), at beginner and intermediate levels. JC students will be able to go through 5 game modules over the 2 years. We also make provision for JC2 students to select 1 game module which they have not learnt before or would like to deepen their skills for.
Going beyond conventional PE lessons, our students get to experience trying out our very own Adventure Tower or Rock Wall. This will enable them to acquire knowledge, skills and confidence in a constantly changing environment. We aim to allow every cohort the opportunity to experience these facilities through our PE lessons or elective programmes.
