STUDENTS' COUNCIL
“Betterment through Dedication” – this motto aptly captures the essence of the Students’ Council (SC), the highest office that any student can hold in TJC. The SC comprises student leaders from IP2 to JC2. These students are committed and passionate about making the College a vibrant and enjoyable second home for TJCians through College-wide and House activities.
As student leaders, these councillors lead in the planning and executing of key events to raise College and House spirit. Events include the annual IP1 Induction and JC1 Orientation, as well as IP4 Prom Night and JC2 Grad Night. They will also be trained as mentors and facilitators at various platforms such as dialogues, focus group discussions and seminars. More recently, Student Councillors have been involved in planning TJC’s Big Move from Bedok to Tampines, as well as the 2026 Pre-University Seminar.
